DJI Agras T50 overview

What the DJI Agras T50 brings to a spraying operation

The DJI Agras T50 sits between the 20 kg class Agras T25 and the 100 kg class Agras T100. It suits contractors and larger farms that need real hectares per day without moving to a heavy-lift platform. One aircraft takes either the dual atomizing spraying system or the spreading system, so the same airframe covers crop protection in season and fertiliser or seed in other windows. Productivity comes from the workflow around it: fast-charging batteries, a charger that keeps up and a crew that sets dosage, swath and height for each crop.

DUAL ATOMIZING SPRAYINGDroplet size and swath you can set per crop

Two magnetic-drive pumps feed the LX8060SZ sprinklers. Droplet size is adjustable from 50 to 500 μm and the effective spray width is 4-11 m at 3 m above the crop, depending on the scenario.

Spraying and spreading

How the Agras T50 spraying and spreading systems work

Spraying. The standard configuration carries two LX8060SZ sprinklers mounted 1,570 mm apart at the rear, fed by two pumps rated 0-12 L/min each, for a maximum of 16 L/min. Adding the Agras T50 Atomized Sprinkler Package brings the aircraft to four sprinklers and 24 L/min, the configuration DJI points to for dense orchard canopies that need higher volumes per hectare. Droplet size is set in the app through the rotating atomizer, so the operator can move from a fine spray to a coarser, drift-resistant droplet without changing hardware.

Spreading. The Agras T50 Spreading System replaces the spray tank with a 75 L hopper and a 50 kg internal load for dry granules from 0.5 to 5 mm: granular fertilisers, many seeds and granular products. DJI quotes an 8 m spread width and up to 108 kg/min with 4 mm urea. All payloads are measured at sea level; DJI indicates about 10 kg less spraying payload per 1,000 m of altitude, so plan with the payload the DJI Agras app recommends.

Efficiency in practice

DJI Agras T50 productivity: reading the 21 ha/h figure

DJI states a spraying efficiency of up to 21 hectares per hour for the Agras T50, measured at 15 L/ha, 11 m spray width, 7 m/s and 3 m height. For spreading, DJI quotes up to 108 kg/min, about 1.5 tonnes per hour, with 4 mm urea. DJI notes that efficiency varies with environment and parameters.

In real fields, higher volumes per hectare (orchards and vineyards often need far more than 15 L/ha), narrow or irregular plots, headland turns, ferry distance and refill speed all reduce it. When we size a T50 project we start from the crop, the target volume and the field layout, then build the battery and charging plan, giving a realistic daily hectare figure.

Frequently asked questions

DJI Agras T50 FAQ

What is the DJI Agras T50 price?
The aircraft price is shown at the top of this page. Batteries, charging and the spreading system are quoted together according to your crops and acreage. Contact DroneBase for a complete field kit quote.
How many hectares per hour can the Agras T50 spray?
DJI states up to 21 ha/h, measured at 15 L/ha, 11 m spray width, 7 m/s and 3 m height. Higher volumes per hectare, small plots, long ferry distances and slow refills reduce the real figure.
What payload does the DJI Agras T50 carry?
40 kg in the 40 L spray tank and 50 kg in the 75 L spreading tank, both measured at sea level. DJI indicates about 10 kg less spraying payload per 1,000 m of altitude.
What is the difference between the Agras T50 and T25?
The T25 carries 20 kg of spray (20 L tank) and 25 kg of granules and uses the 15,500 mAh DB800 battery. The T50 doubles both payloads and uses the 30,000 mAh DB1560. Both reach 24 L/min with four sprinklers, but the T50 sprays up to 11 m wide against 4-7 m.
How long does a DB1560 battery take to charge?
9-12 minutes per battery with the C10000 power supply or the D12000iE generator, depending on station altitude, a fast-charge-rated cable and a cell temperature between 15 °C and 70 °C. DJI rates the battery for up to 1,500 charge cycles.
Can the T50 work on hillside vineyards?
Yes. The phased array radars support terrain follow on slopes up to 50° in mapping-free operation. Steep sites still need careful route planning and trained pilots.
Does the DJI T50 need RTK?
It works without RTK, with ±60 cm horizontal hover accuracy under strong GNSS. RTK brings this to ±10 cm horizontal and vertical, useful for repeatable orchard routes and field edges.
Is drone spraying legal in the EU?
EU rules prohibit aerial spraying of plant protection products as a general principle, with derogations possible at national level, and a drone of this weight needs an operational authorisation. Check with your national authorities.
What training does DroneBase offer for the T50?
We run a one-day Agras T50 and T100 training course covering assembly, remote controller setup, mission planning and field spraying and spreading.
The product

DJI Agras T50: spraying drone and spreader in one airframe

The DJI Agras T50 is a coaxial twin-rotor agricultural drone carrying 40 kg of liquid or 50 kg of granules. As a T50 spraying drone it delivers up to 24 L/min with four sprinklers and a 4-11 m swath; as a spreader it handles 0.5-5 mm granules at up to 108 kg/min. Front and rear phased array radars and binocular vision provide obstacle sensing and terrain follow, and the DB1560 battery recharges in 9-12 minutes. Compared with the Agras T25 it doubles the spray payload; compared with the Agras T100 it is lighter and easier to power in the field.

DroneBase, an ISO 9001:2015 certified, authorised DJI Enterprise dealer and system integrator based in Italy, supplies the T50 with batteries, charging, spraying and spreading systems, training and after-sales support. Discover the DJI Agras T50 solution or contact us to size a field kit for your crops.

* DJI figure at 15 L/ha, 11 m spray width, 7 m/s and 3 m height; real efficiency varies.
